Life After Graduation

You might be surprised at the career doors that have opened for graduates of Lander's English program. One of our graduates, for example, is editing a trade paper for the textile industry. Another is a marketing representative for a large publishing house.

Others are working in public relations, advertising, printing, social work, broadcasting, journalism, and education. And that's just a small sample.
English is also an excellent foundation for graduate or professional school. Whatever your career aspirations, the courses you take as an English major will help you develop communication skills which will be marketable when you go job hunting.
