Blackboard at Lander University
Information for Faculty
What is my Blackboard ID and password?
The first part of your Lander University issued email address is your Blackboard ID. For example, if your Lander student email address is jprofessor@lander.edu , your User Name is jprofessor.
Your Password is your Bearcat PIN number.
Where do I go to log in?
From Lander's homepage, you can click on the Blackboard icon on the right side of the page. You can also type in the following address in the address field of your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer): http://webct6.lander.edu .

Recommendations
We recommend that you log in through the MyLander portal . The MyLander portal now offers one User Name/one Password logon for all your most frequently used Lander University-related accounts: Bearcat Web, Blackboard, and your Lander webmail!
To access the updated MyLander portal, follow the MyLander link from the main Lander University homepage: http://webct6.lander.edu . Questions about Blackboard can be directed to Glen O'Connor at goconnor@lander.edu.
It is recommended that you save the Blackboard log in link( http://webct6.lander.edu ) in your "Favorites" or "Bookmarks" for easy access to the Blackboard server.
- To add a page to your list of "Favorites"

Go to the page that you want to add to your Favorites list.

On the Favorites menu, click Add to Favorites.

Type a new name for the page if you want to. For example, Lander Blackboard Log In or LU Blackboard Log in.

Go to the page that you want to add to your Bookmarks list.
