Lander University is a state supported four-year comprehensive university in the Piedmont region of South Carolina. Located midway between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the beautiful beaches of the state, Lander possesses the charm of a small university with the undergraduate enrollment of approximately 2800. Having completed a reaccreditation visit in 2003, the Department of Nursing is fully accredited by NLNAC through 2011. The Department of Nursing offers two options for earning the BSN degree: the traditional 4-year Generic option and the RN/BSN Completion (online) option. The Department of Nursing is proud of the success of its students with the NCLEX pass rate of Lander graduates averaging 96.5% over the past six years. The current student enrollment in the department is 111 students in the nursing major, 112 prenursing students in the College, and 46 RN/BSN students.
