The Wellness Center offers a variety of healthcare services, programs and information resources to help students maintain optimal emotional and physical health. The Wellness Center is located in Genesis hall next to the Lander University Police and is comprised of Student Health Services and Counseling Services.

 

The Office of Health Services pr ovides a registered nurse who is on-duty for routine nursing treatments during these hours.   A Campus Nurse is available during office hours when school is in session.      

 

Students living on campus who have a health concern, become sick or injured, should come to the Wellness Center for evaluation and/or treatment during office hours .

 

The Office of Counseling Services provides personal counseling for students who need help with overcoming and working through mental health problems.   Counseling sessions are free to the student and are confidential.   Sessions are tailored to accommodate each student’s needs.

    

The Office of Disability Services  coordinates accomodations for students with disabilities at Lander University.  The Wellness Center notifies faculty of appropriate accomodations and assures that students receive the necessary physical accomodations based on their medical condition.  This offfice is the first point of contact for all students with disablitilites.
