Bearcat
Dance Team
The Bearcat Dance Team consists of 12-24 members whose primary function is to promote
university spirit and provide entertainment at all home basketball games and selected university
and community events.
In lieu of a scholarship, each member of the team receives nearly $2000 worth of merchandise,
training, and travel during the season. Items include uniforms, teamwear, dance shoes, dance
bag, poms, warmup, dance camp fees, routine choreography camp, competition fees, and
hotel/meals for team travel. In addition, members receive priority class registration.
